Hair Dyeing

"Hair Dye, or Hair Color, is a chemical implement that is employed to vary the color of an individual's hair. Hair dye is used frequently to alter gray hair, since gray hair is a mark of a progressed age. Younger people that used hair dye employ it as a style statement or only because they desire to change their hair color. Hair colouring has been practiced for thousands of years, with the most famed early practice being the employ of henna formulations by the early Egyptians. This natural dye contributed red-orange highlights to hair, and immobile today henna, henna extract and the definite active colour ingredient of henna, Lawsone, are recognised cosmetic ingredients.

Hair Dyeing

The 4 most ordinary classifications are 'temporary', 'semi-permanent', 'demi-permanent' (occasions called 'deposit only') and "permanent".Temporary hair color is obtainable as washs, shampoos, gels, sprays, and foams among others. This kind of hair color is typically brighter and more vivacious than semi-permanent and permanent hair color. Semi-permanent hair dye has littler molecules than temporary dyes, and is therefore able to incompletely infiltrate the hair shaft. Semi-permanents include no, or very low levels of developer, peroxide or ammonia, and are therefore safer for injured or delicate hair.

Demi permanent hair color is permanent hair color that comprises an alkaline agent other than ammonia and, while always used with a developer, the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in that developer may be lower than used with a permanent hair color. Demi-permanents are much more helpful at extending gray hair than semi-permanents, but fewer so than permanents. Permanent color is really permanent and will not rinse out, although it may lighten. Permanent haircolor is the merely means to dye dark hair into a lighter shade, and it must be done in two parts: primary, the hair is lightened, and then color is applied.
